There is some confusion regarding what a PED is and what kind of PEDs exist. Some people think that PED = Steroids, while others think PED is an umbrella term for just SARMs and AAS.

PED stands for Performance Enhancing Drug, so any drug that can enhance one's performance is a PED.

In this post, we'll go over the 5 MAIN TYPES OF PEDs and hopefully set the record straight!

PED TYPE #1 - ANABOLIC STEROIDS

AAS are a type of PED that requires no introduction. These muscle-building and strength-boosting synthetic androgens are what everyone thinks of when they hear the word "PED", "doping", "enhancement", etc...

Examples: Testosterone, Nandrolone, Trenbolone, Oxandrolone, Methenolone, etc...
